Watch.. The Occupation Army Executes Two Young Men from Jenin After Their Surrender

Video footage showed Israeli occupation soldiers executing two Palestinian young men in the Abu Zaher neighborhood of Jenin in the northern West Bank, despite the fact that they were raising their hands in the air to surrender.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of Montasir Allah Abdullah (26 years old) and Youssef Asasa (37 years old) due to the occupation's gunfire in Jenin.

In response, Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir stated that the soldiers in Jenin acted exactly as expected of them.

Ben Gvir expressed his full support for the soldiers, border guards, and army who opened fire on what he described as "wanted terrorists who came out of a building in Jenin."

For its part, the Israeli occupation army stated in a statement that its forces surrounded a building in the city during an operation where "two wanted individuals" were inside, and "took measures aimed at their surrender," adding that gunfire was directed at them after they exited the building.

After documenting the field execution on video, the army stated that it is conducting "a field investigation into the circumstances of the incident."

Footage shown by Israeli television stations depicted the Israeli forces shooting at the young men after they raised their hands to surrender, and the Agence France-Presse captured part of the incident.

This comes amid a significant escalation in the West Bank as the Israeli military operation continues, with occupation forces raiding hundreds of Palestinian homes in the Tubas governorate and restricting the movement of about 70,000 Palestinians.
