This came during His Highness's blood donation at the blood donation center affiliated with Dubai Health, in support of the 'My Blood for My Country' campaign and its prominent role in promoting the culture of voluntary blood donation among community members.

His Highness was received at the blood donation center by the Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, Dr. Alawi Sheikh Ali, the Deputy Head of the Dubai State Security, Major General Awad Hader Jumaa Al-Muhairi, the Director General of the Dubai State Security, Major General Tamim Mohammed Al-Muhairi, and the Executive Director of 'Dubai Health' and the Director of Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Amer Sharif.

The campaign is organized in partnership between 'The Guardian Service', 'Dubai Health Authority', 'Dubai Health', and 'Emarat Al Youm' newspaper, aiming to provide blood units for treating patients, in addition to providing the necessary blood units for the thalassemia center, as well as promoting the culture of blood donation in the community.

For his part, Dr. Alawi Sheikh Ali stated that the participation of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the 'My Blood for My Country' campaign continues His Highness's role in supporting health and community initiatives and encouraging blood donation. He emphasized that blood donation represents an important humanitarian value that contributes to saving patients' lives, and that community interaction with the campaign reflects the level of awareness of national initiatives.

He pointed out that the Dubai Health Authority is continuing to enhance the voluntary blood donation system and support programs that contribute to raising the readiness of the health sector and meeting the needs of patients, confirming that the campaign is part of the Authority's ongoing approach to enhance community participation and humanitarian work.

Dr. Amer Sharif expressed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his generous initiative to donate blood and his continuous support for the 'My Blood for My Country' campaign, affirming that this initiative reflects the approach of our wise leadership in promoting the culture of giving and providing an inspiring model that encourages individuals and institutions to participate in this national initiative. He added: "Dubai Health continues to work on raising community awareness of the importance of regular blood donation and expanding the campaign's scope to enhance its humanitarian impact."

For his part, the General Supervisor of 'The Guardian Service', Omar Al-Falasi, confirmed that the 'My Blood for My Country' campaign continues to enhance the spirit of solidarity among community members, carrying messages of giving and humanitarian work, and instilling the spirit of initiative in the community.

He said: "The campaign has reflected positive results on the community over more than a decade in terms of donors and those in need, which has had an impact on disease prevention and improving health levels in the country," emphasizing that 'The Guardian Service' continues to enhance the positive role by constantly contributing to maintaining the safety and health of community members.

For his part, the Editor-in-Chief of 'Emarat Al Youm', Ibrahim Shukrallah, stated that the donation of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as part of the 'My Blood for My Country' campaign embodies an inspiring model in humanitarian work and reflects the leadership's keenness to establish a culture of giving and social responsibility. He added that the participation of 'Emarat Al Youm' as a partner in the campaign comes from its social responsibility and its role in raising awareness and establishing the culture of blood donation as a humanitarian act that saves lives.

The 'My Blood for My Country' campaign aims to attract new donors, especially those donating for the first time, in order to expand the blood donation center's database, especially from individuals with rare blood types.
