His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai and Chairman of the Federal Police Leadership Council, chaired the eighth meeting of 2025, which was held yesterday remotely, with the attendance of police leaders, senior officers, and officials from the Ministry of Interior.

The council reviewed several topics on its agenda, including a report on the institutional policies of the Ministry of Interior, which included the mechanism for formulating and developing those policies within the ministry, police leadership, and its affiliated sectors, as well as the most important external and internal partners.

The council was briefed on the report of the Permanent Committee for Police Operations at the Ministry of Interior for 2025, which included the key topics presented and discussed in the meetings of the Federal Police Leadership Council during the current year, along with the number of decisions and recommendations made regarding those topics and their implementation rates.

The council reviewed the results of the third quarter of the mortality rate due to road accidents per 100,000 residents during the current year 2025, and discussed several other topics on its agenda, making the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding them.
