Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, confirmed that the state has successfully implemented the first phase of the comprehensive health insurance system in six governorates, noting that investments in this phase have exceeded 53 billion EGP.

This was stated during the launch of the sixth annual forum of the General Authority for Health Care in the New Administrative Capital, which is held under the slogan: "From Vision to Expansion... Elevating Health Care to Global Standards."

Madbouly added that the General Authority for Health Care has provided more than 100 million medical services during the first phase in the governorates where it has been implemented, pointing out that the participating medical facilities have been accredited according to national quality and accreditation standards, and have been equipped with the latest medical equipment.

The Prime Minister explained that these facilities rely on the latest technological systems and digital transformation applications in their operations, allowing for continuous monitoring of performance indicators and enhancing citizens' trust in the quality of services provided.

He emphasized that the system has delivered precise medical services of great humanitarian importance, as cochlear implant surgeries have been performed for more than 150 children who regained their hearing ability, in addition to the successful completion of 24 kidney transplant surgeries, as well as thousands of specialized services in the fields of cardiology, oncology, pediatrics, critical care, and major surgeries.

Madbouly pointed out that these efforts embody the essence of the comprehensive health insurance project, which aims to deliver support to those in need with the dignity they deserve.

The conference coincides with the sixth anniversary of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's launch of the comprehensive health insurance project from Port Said Governorate.

The forum includes the presentation of innovative documentary films and real-life stories that illustrate the extent of the transformation brought about by the system within health facilities, highlighting models of successes and daily efforts made to elevate the level of services and ensure the quality of care provided to citizens.

During the first day of the forum, a series of interactive discussion sessions will be held addressing key topics in the future of health care, including building global trust in health systems, enhancing quality and innovation, and developing mechanisms for strategic partnerships to ensure the sustainability of comprehensive health insurance services.

The sessions will also include in-depth discussions on balancing health, financing, and sustainability, as well as examining the role of the private sector in expanding access to medicine and supporting the national pharmaceutical industry.

The first day of the sixth annual forum will also witness the honoring of prominent figures in the health care sector, partners in success, and winners of the annual forum competition and excellence awards from the authority, in recognition of their contributions to supporting the health reform journey and developing the care system in Egypt.
