This was during the activities of the sixth annual forum launched by the General Authority for Health Care in the New Capital under the slogan "From Vision to Expansion... We Elevate Health Care to Global Standards."
He added that the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project is one of the most important national projects adopted by the state in recent years, believing in every citizen's right to receive integrated health services with the highest quality standards in a fair manner that achieves citizen satisfaction and ensures the sustainability of the necessary funding to achieve comprehensive health coverage.
He pointed out that this matter represents one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and one of the pillars of Egypt's Vision 2030.
He emphasized the Egyptian state's commitment to building human capital, as the government has worked under the guidance of political leadership in recent years along parallel paths to fully develop the health sector.
He noted that this includes restructuring the health sector with effective legislation, as well as a comprehensive development of the infrastructure of health facilities and the equitable redistribution of health services to ensure equality in access to these services.
He also highlighted the importance of medical personnel as a cornerstone for advancing the health system.
The conference coincides with the sixth anniversary of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's launch of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project from Port Said Governorate.
The forum includes the presentation of innovative documentary films alongside real stories that embody the extent of the transformation brought about by the Comprehensive Health Insurance System within health facilities, showcasing examples of successes and daily efforts made to enhance services and ensure the quality of care provided to citizens.
During the first day of the forum, a series of interactive discussion sessions will be held addressing key topics in the future of health care, including building global trust in health systems, enhancing quality and innovation, and developing mechanisms for strategic partnerships to ensure the sustainability of comprehensive health insurance services.
The sessions will include in-depth discussions on the balance between health, financing, and sustainability, and discussing the role of the private sector in expanding access to medicine and supporting the national pharmaceutical industry.
The first day of the sixth annual forum will also witness the honoring of healthcare work symbols, partners in success, and winners of the annual forum competition and excellence awards at the authority, in appreciation of their contributions and efforts in supporting the health reform process and developing the care system in Egypt.
