Zelensky: I Will Discuss Sensitive Issues with Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed yesterday, Monday, that the proposed peace plan currently under discussion with the United States and Europe includes "correct" points, but there are sensitive issues he will discuss with his American counterpart Donald Trump.

Zelensky mentioned in his evening video address, "From now on, after the (Geneva) talks, there are fewer points; it is no longer 28 points, and a large number of correct elements have been integrated into this framework."

He added, "Our team has already presented a report today on the new draft of the steps, and this is truly the right approach. As for the sensitive issues, the most sensitive points, I will discuss them with President Trump."

Zelensky stated that the process of issuing a final document would be difficult and that Ukraine appreciates the assistance provided by other countries and the "constructive" American approach.

Zelensky added that if negotiations on ending the war continue, "there should be no missiles, no intensive strikes on Ukraine and our people. This is something that the powerful in the world can guarantee."
