The Health and Population Directorate in Assiut Governorate has intensified its specialized training courses for medical staff in hospitals under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mohamed Zain El-Din Hafiz, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Population in Assiut. This initiative is part of the efforts of the Central Administration for Critical and Emergency Care at the Ministry of Health to elevate the level of medical services and ensure the provision of the best levels of care for patients.

The Critical and Emergency Care Administration of the directorate, led by Dr. Marwa Ahmed Youssef, organized three intensive and distinguished courses in Basic Life Support (BLS).

In her statements, Dr. Marwa Ahmed Youssef, Director of the Critical and Emergency Care Administration in Assiut Health, explained that these courses, which featured a comprehensive package of theoretical and practical training, aimed to train nearly 75 individuals from various medical teams on the fundamentals of CPR, a vital skill for saving patients' lives in critical moments.

She stated that the courses witnessed fruitful cooperation with a selection of professors from Al-Azhar University in Assiut, who provided the scientific material and practical training, enriching the training content and ensuring the quality of information provided to the trainees.

For his part, Moatasem Billah Al-Suyuti, Director of the Media Affairs Department, confirmed that the courses were held in the conference hall of the Chest Hospital in Assiut and the conference hall at the Health Directorate's headquarters. At the end of the courses, the trainees were awarded a certificate of completion accredited by the Ministry of Health - Central Administration for Critical and Emergency Care.

He indicated that these courses are part of a comprehensive and ongoing plan to enhance the efficiency of medical teams in hospitals.

He pointed out that the courses continue to ensure that the largest possible number of workers are trained and prepared to handle emergency cases with the highest levels of professional competence, which serves the interests of patients and the safety of the health system in the governorate.
