CORE SUBJECT
Palestinian Martyrdom
A Palestinian was martyred by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire on Friday, west of the "Yellow Line" in the area not occupied by them in Khan Younis Governorate; coinciding with extensive demolition operations and gunfire by the occupation forces east of the line in the Gaza Strip.
The "Nasser Hospital" stated in a report that "a displaced person was martyred by the gunfire of the Israeli occupation forces outside the yellow line (in areas where Palestinians are present under the ceasefire) south of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip."
Israel almost daily violates the ceasefire agreement it signed with Hamas, which came into effect in Gaza on October 10.
The violations by the occupation army have resulted in the martyrdom of 312 Palestinians, in addition to the injury of 760 others since October 11, according to a statement issued on Thursday by the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
According to eyewitnesses, the occupation army carried out a "massive demolition operation" during the night in the areas it occupies east of Gaza City, accompanied by heavy gunfire from tanks within the same line south of Khan Younis.
The "Yellow Line" separates the areas of occupation army deployment, which constitute more than 50% of the eastern area of the strip, from the areas where Palestinians are allowed to move westward.
The ceasefire agreement, brokered by Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and sponsored by Washington, ended the massacre in Gaza, which left more than 69,000 Palestinian martyrs and over 170,000 injured, most of whom are children and women, while the United Nations estimated the cost of reconstruction at about 70 billion dollars.
