Actors Mourn Walid Al-Alaeli After His Sudden Death: 'How Harsh This World Is'

Sadness enveloped the Lebanese and Arab artistic community following the announcement of the death of Lebanese actor Walid Al-Alaeli. Condolence messages poured in from his fellow artists and actors, recalling his calm career and distinctive presence, while the news of his sudden passing caused widespread shock.

The Syndicate of Theater, Cinema, Radio, and Television Actors in Lebanon mourned the late actor: "We mourn with great sorrow our colleague, star Walid Al-Alaeli. May God have mercy on him and grant him eternal paradise with the righteous and the truthful."

The syndicate's statement continued: "The Syndicate of Actors in Lebanon, its president and members, extend their deepest condolences to the honorable family and to all colleagues and admirers on the loss of our beloved star colleague, asking God to accept his good soul in the embrace of divine glory and eternal paradise, where there is no pain, tragedy, or tears."

Actor Badi' Abu Shaqra wrote: "All we have left are beautiful memories."

Actress Ward Al-Khal mourned Al-Alaeli and wrote: "An artist departs silently after being forgotten by art and the homeland. With sadness, we bid you farewell, Walid, after the screen longed for your elegance and tact... Forgive us. Peace to your soul."

Actor Talal Al-Jurdi said: "May God have mercy on you, Walid Al-Alaeli."

Actor Bassam Mughniyeh wrote: "Rest in peace, my brother."

Actress Carmen Labess expressed her sorrow, saying: "How upsetting this news is. May God have mercy on the very distinguished actor Walid Al-Alaeli and grant patience to his family and loved ones in this separation. May his soul be in heaven."
