General Secondary Exam Schedule in South Sinai 2025-2026

The South Sinai Directorate of Education announced the exam schedule for the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year for the general secondary stage, both morning and evening sessions.

Adel Atlam, Deputy Minister of Education, stated that the first semester exams for the general secondary stage in schools (official, language, private, and home schooling) will be conducted according to the timetable approved by the Ministry of Education. He confirmed that the exams will start on Saturday, January 4, and continue until Thursday, January 15, during both morning and evening periods.

The Deputy Minister explained in a statement today, Saturday, that Ministerial Decision No. 138 of 2024 regarding the study and evaluation system for general secondary students will be implemented. Practical exams are scheduled to be held before the written exams starting January 1 at each school, under the supervision of the relevant technical guidance and in coordination with the educational administration, with students being notified of the exam dates and signing for acknowledgment.

He confirmed that students in official language schools will take the advanced level exam for "First Foreign Language" starting January 1, lasting three hours, administered by the school and supervised by the relevant technical guidance, with students notified of the exam date and signing for acknowledgment.

He pointed out that the practical exam for Programming and Artificial Intelligence will begin on December 30 and last 30 minutes, while home-schooled students will take only theoretical exams, with full marks awarded based on the theoretical exam.

He added that practical exams for Military Education will start on Wednesday, December 31, and the theoretical exam on Thursday, January 1. He confirmed that home-schooled students are generally exempt from practical exams. No exams will be held on January 6, 7, and 8, coinciding with the Christian holidays.
