Tomorrow.. Launch of the Cultural Forum for Youth in New Valley

The New Valley Governorate has completed all preparations for the launch of the Cultural Forum for Youth in the governorate, organized by the Supreme Council of Culture, headed by Dr. Ashraf Al-Azazi, in cooperation with the Cultural Palaces Authority, the governorate, and the Poetry House in Luxor. The event will be attended by Dr. Iman Najm, Head of the Central Administration for Literary Affairs and Competitions, and Dr. Amani El-Gendy, Director General of Sabbatical Grants and Care for Artists and Writers, under the slogan "Oases of Art and Creativity."

Ibtisam Abdel-Mareed, Director General of the New Valley Culture Branch, stated that the Cultural Forum for Youth includes many activities at Hebes Cinema in Kharga, including a literary meeting about the most important published and translated works of the oasis creators, poetry evenings, and performances by the Arabic Music Band affiliated with Kharga Cultural Palace, alongside the opening of an exhibition of fine arts, handicrafts, and artisanal works featuring oasis artists, sabbatical grant recipients, and artistic talents.

She explained that the events include the opening of an exhibition of traditional Indian handicrafts accompanying the Indian Folk Arts troupe, as well as the opening of a book exhibition issued by the Supreme Council of Culture, and performances by the Folk Arts troupe affiliated with Kharga Cultural Palace. She confirmed that visits to the tourist landmarks in the Kharga oases will also be conducted.

She pointed out that the Cultural Forum for Youth aims to support creators and artists who have received sabbatical grants from the Ministry of Culture, as well as to discover talents among youth, women, children, and people with disabilities, during the period from December 21 to 24.
