He announced that Minister Lavrov will be honored tomorrow with a reception by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, noting that all ministers participating in the conference will meet with the president.

The Foreign Minister added: We discussed the situation in Libya and stressed the necessity of rejecting foreign interventions in Libyan affairs.

For his part, Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister, said: "We emphasize the necessity of implementing the two-state solution to ensure peace in the region."

He explained that Presidents Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Vladimir Putin discussed ways to enhance supply chains between the two countries, and we are following up on the implementation of these directives, pointing to discussions on coordinating political consultations on various issues of common interest.

He continued: "We continue our contacts with Yemeni parties to ensure the enhancement of stability in Yemen, and the crisis in Libya requires further efforts, and it is necessary to launch a comprehensive political solution as soon as possible."
