Also present at the reception were His Excellency Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice; His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; and Omar Obaid Al Hosani Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The event, attended by a number of officials and members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE, began with the national anthems of the two sister countries, followed by a visual presentation on the journey of fraternal relations between the UAE and Qatar.
In his speech, Dr. Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations between the State of Qatar and the sisterly United Arab Emirates, pointing out that the relations between the two countries are deeply rooted and strengthened by family, social, and cultural ties between the two brotherly peoples, contributing to the consolidation of shared values reflecting unity of destiny.
He also emphasized that these relations have proven over decades their ability to develop, renew, and adapt, based on a shared heritage of cooperation and a spirit of closeness, noting that his country shares with the UAE the deepest and most solid bonds.
He extended congratulations to the UAE, leadership and people, on the occasion of the 54th National Day, appreciating the pioneering humanitarian role of the UAE, which has become a distinctive mark on the international scene.
