Technically, only 4 minutes had passed when Moroccan player Osama Tannane launched a screaming shot from midfield that flew over everyone, including Jordanian goalkeeper Yazid Abu Leila, and shook the "Nashama" net.

Morocco's attempts bore fruit with a second goal scored by Abdelrazak Hamdallah in the 88th minute, leveling the score at 2-2 and sending the teams into extra time.

In the first extra time period, Jordan scored a goal, but the referee canceled it due to a handball. Morocco then surged back with a go-ahead goal 3-2 also by Hamdallah, maintaining their lead to end the match in their favor and lifting their second title in the "Arab festival."

Comment on the Saudi Arabia vs. UAE Match

Meanwhile, the third-place match between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates was canceled due to heavy rain at Khalifa International Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Hours after the decision to stop the match, FIFA stated in a release: "The third-place match of the Arab Cup Qatar 2025 between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates has been suspended indefinitely due to thunderstorms affecting the area around the stadium."

It added: "While the stadium maintained full operational readiness and the pitch remained in good condition, the referee and match officials took this measure to ensure the safety of all players, fans, and stadium staff."

The winner of the third place will be determined later by the relevant committee at FIFA.
