Globe Soccer Reveals Final Lists of Nominees

The organizers of the Beyond Real Estate Globe Soccer Awards have revealed the final list of nominees for the winners of its sixteenth edition, following the closure of the global voting, which attracted more than 30 million votes from football fans around the world. The winners will be crowned during an exclusive invitation-only ceremony that brings together the most prominent stars, decision-makers, legends, and rising names in the world of football on Sunday, December 28, at Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai.

Voting took place over two global rounds and covered nine main categories, including Best Player, Best Female Player, Best Men's Club, Best Women's Club, Best Coach, Best Midfielder, Best Forward, Best Rising Player, and Best Player in the Middle East region. The ceremony will also distribute awards in other categories, including Best Player Agent, Best Sporting Director, the Maradona Award, the Career Achievement Award, and other special awards.

Nominee List

Paris Saint-Germain, the UEFA Champions League titleholder, dominated the nominations in the final lists; the club competes in the Best Men's Club category against Barcelona, Chelsea, Flamengo, and Liverpool. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain's head coach Luis Enrique competes for Best Coach alongside Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid), Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Hansi Flick (Barcelona), and Enzo Marisca (Chelsea). Additionally, PSG duo Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha made the final nominees list for Best Player, alongside Kylian Mbappé from Real Madrid, and Raphinha and Lamine Yamal from Barcelona.

Aitana Bonmatí, midfielder for Barcelona Women and the Spanish national team, aims to win the Best Female Player award for the third consecutive year. She is joined in the final nominees list by Mariona Caldentey (Spain and Arsenal), Melchie Dumornay (Haiti and Lyon), Alexia Putellas (Spain and Barcelona), and Alicia Russo (England and Arsenal). The final competition for Best Women's Club is between Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Juventus.

It is worth mentioning that star Cristiano Ronaldo confirmed his attendance at this unprecedented edition of the awards ceremony. The Portuguese national team and Al Nassr striker competes for Best Player in the Middle East region alongside Salem Al-Dawsari (Al Hilal), Karim Benzema (Al Ittihad), and Riyad Mahrez (Al Ahli).

Barcelona player Raphinha was chosen as Best Player, Hansi Flick as Best Coach, Lamine Yamal as Best Rising Player, and the Best Goal award went to Luka Sucic from Real Sociedad, while Jan Oblak from Atlético Madrid received the Best Save award.
