Trump: I Achieved "Great Successes" Over Months and Pledge Extensive Domestic Reforms

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that his administration has achieved great successes over the past 11 months, affirming that he managed to end the war in Gaza and eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat, in addition to achieving "peace in the Middle East for the first time in 3,000 years," according to his words.

The U.S. president added, in a speech addressed to Americans from the Diplomatic Reception Room at the White House in Washington, D.C., that he ended 8 wars in ten months and returned Israeli prisoners in Gaza "both the living and the dead."

In another context, Trump confirmed that his current term has restored the country's military strength: "We have the strongest army in the world by a wide margin."

On the domestic front, Trump announced that he will soon reveal the next Federal Reserve Chair, noting that it will be someone who believes in significantly lowering interest rates.

He also pledged reforms in the housing sector by next year, criticizing what he described as the "inflation disaster caused by the Democrats," which deprived millions of Americans from owning homes, according to his claim.

The U.S. president pointed out that his country received record investments worth $18 trillion, which means—according to him—more jobs and higher wages, confirming that more than one million U.S. soldiers will receive a financial bonus before the Christmas holiday.

Regarding immigration, Trump said the borders were open and the country was subjected to an "invasion of millions," promising to continue confronting the giant health insurance companies that "accumulated huge wealth that was supposed to go directly to the people."

In another matter, Trump accused Somalis of stealing billions of dollars in the state of Minnesota, affirming that his administration will work to "put an end to that."

In a related development, the U.S. president's administration mocked former President Joe Biden by placing a commemorative plaque prominently displayed on the exterior facade of the White House.

The plaque describes Biden as "the worst president in American history" and claims he pushed the nation "to the brink of destruction." The plaque also bears the nickname "Sleepy Joe Biden," a nickname Trump repeatedly used during the presidential campaign to portray his opponent as weak.

The plaque also repeats Trump's unfounded claim that the 2020 election, which Biden won, was "rigged," and holds the Democrats responsible for the outbreak of the Russian war against Ukraine in 2022.

The plaque is part of an exhibition of presidential portraits previously installed on the White House building. When the exhibition was unveiled, the absence of Biden's portrait drew attention, as a picture of an "automatic signature pen"—a robotic device used to reproduce signatures—was placed instead of his portrait.
