Trump Installs Insulting Biographies of Biden and Obama at the White House

Journalists discovered on Wednesday that plaques had been installed beneath the official portraits of former presidents, featuring mocking biographical summaries targeting Joe Biden, nicknamed "Sleepy," and Barack Obama, described as "one of the most divisive political figures in history."

Insulting his predecessors Joe Biden and Barack Obama both in speech and writing was not enough for him. Donald Trump took it a step further by having plaques hung at the White House that reflect his grievances against the two Democratic presidents.

The Republican president had already caused a stir by installing a gallery of portraits of former presidents under an exterior colonnade leading to the Oval Office, where Joe Biden's photograph was replaced by that of a signing machine.

This echoed Donald Trump's claims that his predecessor was senile to the point of being unable to govern.

On Wednesday, December 17, journalists discovered that plaques had been added beneath the portraits, containing biographical summaries.

Those of Joe Biden and Barack Obama are, unsurprisingly, very negative.

Regarding the first Black president of the United States, the plaque states that he is "one of the most divisive political figures in history." His middle name, Hussein, was added as a nod to conspiracy theories about his origins.

Joe Biden is described as follows: "Sleepy Joe Biden was, by far, the worst president in United States history."

The plaque also repeats the false claim that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump.

As for the current president, his biography is obviously very flattering.

It states that he ended eight conflicts in eight months, a figure widely considered imaginary, and that he generated millions of trillions in investments in the United States, an unverifiable claim.

Since his return to power on January 20, Donald Trump has transformed the White House into a setting to his taste and glory.

In addition to having a gigantic ballroom built, he has multiplied golden ornaments and hung portraits of himself—contrary to the tradition that a president's image is only displayed after leaving office.
