Arrests and injuries during Israeli occupation raids in the West Bank
The Israeli occupation army arrested two Palestinian young men late Wednesday evening and assaulted two others, while also carrying out raids at dawn today in various areas of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the Israeli occupation army arrested two Palestinian young men late Wednesday evening during raids on the towns of Anabta and Kafr al-Labad, east of the city of Tulkarm.
The agency added that occupation soldiers forced several shop owners in Kafr al-Labad to close their shops under threat of weapons, stopped vehicles and citizens, and subjected them to field interrogations.
In the southern West Bank, WAFA stated that an Israeli force raided the Khirbet Deir Razih area south of Hebron city, spread around the vicinity of citizens' homes, and beat two young men from the area, mistreating them.
It added that another force raided the southern area of Hebron city and deliberately rammed a Palestinian vehicle with their vehicles, causing material damage without reports of injuries.
The agency also reported that armed settlers attacked a vehicle north of Hebron city with stones, shattering its windows and causing material damage.
Since January 21, the Israeli army has continued its aggression in the northern West Bank, starting with Jenin refugee camp, then moving to the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, resulting in the destruction of thousands of homes and the displacement of more than 50,000 people, according to official Palestinian figures.
Since the genocide war in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli army and settlers have intensified their crimes in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, resulting in the martyrdom of about 1,100 Palestinians, injuries to about 11,000, and the arrest of more than 21,000.
