The Occupation Continues Violations of the Ceasefire in Gaza

The Israeli occupation army continued to violate the ceasefire, with ongoing air raids and artillery shelling targeting the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, alongside intensive fire from military vehicles and drones.

This morning, Wednesday, Israeli artillery targeted the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip; southern areas of the Strip were also targeted.

According to reports published by Quds Press Agency, military vehicles fired intensively near the "Moraj" axis north of Rafah city, and residential sites southeast of Khan Younis city in the southern Strip.

The Israeli warplanes launched a series of intense air raids on the eastern part of Gaza City, one of which targeted a site in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, and another near the Al-Shujaiya junction, while explosion sounds echoed throughout the city, coinciding with artillery shelling east of Jabalia in the northern Strip.

Local sources reported intensive flights of Israeli drones over the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City.

The Gaza Government Media Office documented 738 violations of the ceasefire agreement over two months, resulting in the martyrdom of 386 Palestinians and injuring 980.

The Government Media Office stated that these violations represent "a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a deliberate undermining of the essence of the humanitarian protocol annexed to it."

It explained that the relevant government authorities monitored during this period "738 violations of the agreement, including 205 direct shooting crimes against civilians, and 37 crimes of military vehicle incursions into residential areas."

The office pointed out that these violations resulted in "the martyrdom of 386 citizens, the injury of 980 others, in addition to 43 cases of illegal detention carried out by the Israeli occupation forces."
